INTERROGATION ROOM
Last updated: 19 July 2026

This policy explains what happens to information when you play Interrogation Room (the "Game") on iOS. We have tried to keep it short and honest.

The short version: We do not ask for your name, e-mail, or any account. Your game progress stays on your device. The only company that receives data is Google, because the Game shows ads — and you can limit that with one tap.

1. Information we collect ourselves

None. The Game has no accounts, no sign-in, no servers of our own, and no analytics. We never see who you are or how you play.

Your progress (which cases you solved, your notes, sound and language settings) is stored only on your device using local storage. If you delete the Game, that data is gone. We cannot recover it and we never receive a copy of it.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game is free and supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We do not receive it in a form that identifies you; we only see anonymous, aggregated earnings reports.

Google's own privacy policy applies to this data: policies.google.com/privacy. You can read how Google uses data from apps at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

3. Your choice about tracking

When you first open the Game, iOS asks whether you allow tracking across other companies' apps and websites (Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt).

The Game plays exactly the same either way. Nothing is locked behind this choice.

4. Purchases

The Game offers one optional in-app purchase, Remove Ads. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card number, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple confirms the purchase to the app, and the app stops showing ads.

If you buy Remove Ads, no advertising data is collected afterwards, because no ads are requested.

5. Children

The Game is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Game contains fictional crime and murder-mystery themes presented in text, with no graphic imagery.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. To erase your local game progress, delete the Game from your device, or use Settings → Reset progress inside the Game.

For data held by Google, please refer to Google's privacy policy linked above.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
